Ron and Becky, where do we start?  In over 20 years of camping from the east coast to the west coast, from Florida to Maine, our stay at Mountain Stream was the most relaxing peaceful vacation we have ever had. I wish I had a recording of that stream flowing over the rocks. It just doesn’t get any better than that.  Your location is perfect.  Close enough to a town in case of an emergency, and yet just five minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway. We ventured out several days and viewed the beautiful scenery, but found that the best part of each trip was coming back to Mountain Stream. Your facilities are just as advertised on you web page, the only exception we found was the web page didn’t have that cool clean smell of mountain air.  Your personnel touch is something that we have never seen in a RV park. I think that is what sets Mountain Stream apart from any other park we have stayed in.  All it took was our drive down the road to a point when the cell phone started ringing to make us appreciate how restful and relaxing your park is. This was our first visit, but it won’t be the last.  Thanks for your hospitality and hope see you soon.

The nicest smaller RV Park around Marion and Morganton area. It is a very neat, unique, well maintained and serene place to get away for quiet and restful time. Trout fishing in stream. Owners Ron and Becky were extremely informative, pleasant, friendly and personable.

Everything was great! Clean bathrooms, great sites, nice landscaping.

I have always been skeptical of private RV parks they always seemed to be big business and just herd you in and herd you out. Most have the attitude that you should be thankful that they gave a 10 by 10 spot with all the noise they can send you way. We have camped for 4 years now and I must say you broke the mold for Private Parks. It felt as if we went HOME to be with the family, everyone was very nice, and gracious, the way you and Ron carry yourself seems to rub off on everyone else when you arrive. The grounds were beautiful and the stream I can’s say enough about. We appreciate the entertainment and the care that you and your staff put on to make sure everything is perfect. I hope and pray that all goes well for you two because you deserve it and I want to come see you as often as we can.

On this trip we have traveled over a thousand miles and this is the cleanest park we have stayed in. It is really quiet and peaceful and the stream is really relaxing.

Indeed the nicest small streamside park we have ever seen. Wonderful staff and fellow campers.

We were newcomers to camping with a new RV and very anxious to try it out. We couldn't have done it at a better place. Ron & Becky were very helpful. The park was everything we could have asked for and more. We will be back soon. Looking forward to many more nights of camping and many more nights at Mountain Stream RV Park.

We are from KY and have been to a lot of camp sites. Mountain Stream RV Park is "awesome". It is very clean and quiet. The sound of the creek is the most relaxing sound there is. Ron & Becky are the "Greatest". Every campground should have them as "Host".

This was our second trip to Mountain Stream RV Park. We are so happy to be able to share this "Prettiest Little Park This Side of Heaven" with all the other guests. We are so thankful to come at a time when the park shares with the community. Christmas in October is a "No Miss" season. We enjoyed the Songsmen & Tom and Jo. The covered dish dinner was a wonderful chance to share and to meet others. Thank you for all you do!

Babbling Brook . . . surrounded by trees . . . manicured landscape . . . mountain breezes . . . this truly is the "Prettiest Little Park This Side of Heaven." What a blessing! Adding to all this is the warm welcome and caring of owners, Ron and Becky. What a ministry!

We came, we camped, and we were calmed! The peaceful sound of your crystal stream did something I thought I would never see - my husband overslept!! Seriously, as you climb upwards through the mountains, your troubles are forgotten. We have already booked two more weeks. Beautiful, friendly, fun. If all our family & friends had campers we would bring them to your park and we would be in heaven.

Our favorite spot to camp & we are NEVER disappointed. The campground is consistently neat, clean, well maintained and Ron & Becky could not be better hosts. This stay we enjoyed the weenie roast (Erin had never gotten to do that) and, as always, the Tom & Jo "On the Road Ministries" show was good. Looking forward to Christmas in October in 2 weeks.

We truly enjoyed ourselves here. Ron & Becky, you have made this park into a home away from home. We have met some wonderful people and have great memories. We can't wait to come back. We will look back on our trip and have fond thoughts of you all. Everyone was so nice. We love the family atmosphere. The only problem, next time we need to stay longer!

In a world of cell phones ringing, traffic and noise, we forget what true quiet is. Mountain Stream RV Park is the quietest campground we have ever been to. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. No synthetic entertainment (TV, cell phones), just true peace and quiet. Facilities are pretty and immaculate! ☺

Mountain Stream RV Park is THE place to be! We love the stream for rock climbing and wading. Our kids love the grassy area for playing ball and running. It's a great "home town" atmosphere! Thanks for making this a great family place.

I have yet to find a privately owned campground that matches the qualities of Mountain Stream including the best family and friends atmosphere surrounded by beautiful NC mountains. However, the tree limbs on the left side of the park entrance need to be trimmed back. I hate having to hear tree limbs scraping my coach!

We really enjoyed your little campground. Our son and his friends loved the creek and the open grassy area. The location was wonderful. Thank you for a great weekend. Everyone was very friendly.

Very nice park. Quiet. Well kept & clean. Enjoyed Saturday night chili Cook-Off. The Tom & Jo show was great. It was an added treat to the stay at the park. Site 19 is on the side with the stream. We loved the sound of the mountain stream.

We came to Mountain Stream for a nice relaxing weekend and that was just what we needed. We had a wonderful time. It was so peaceful with the creek flowing and the campfire at night. The owners were very nice and helpful. We will definitely be back for another visit and hopefully a longer stay. I understand why it's called the prettiest little park this side of heaven. Mountain Stream RV Park is our favorite place to relax and enjoy the peace & quiet, plus the creek is so tranquilizing. We've been coming here since August 2000. The owners are "wonderful" & very quick to please. The park is beautiful & clean. You just can't beat it. We love everything about it - including Ron & Becky.

We enjoyed our visit very much. The facilities were very clean, and the landscaping just added to it. Just sitting beside the creek beside the fire was so relaxing. The covered dish supper was very nice as well. We will return, soon. Thanks for a very nice place, close to home to come and relax.

What a wonderful holiday weekend. Perfect weather, fantastic campground and spending time with special friends. Who could ask for more? Another glorious weekend at the neatest campground. We can't wait to come back again and again. Thanks for letting us share your "little piece of Heaven."

The location of the park along a cool mountain stream and well manicured shaded sites automatically put us in a relaxed frame of mind. But what really separates this park from all the others is the people. Whether it was visiting the office or eating at the covered dish dinner or relaxing to live entertainment, the nice people made us feel almost like family. It was our first visit but it won't be our last.

We really enjoyed our stay. We wish we could have stayed longer. Very clean - very well run. Thanks, we enjoyed. P.S. Slept so well listening to the stream. We will be back.

We stayed with you the first week of July 2005. It was the last three days of our 2 week vacation, but was the most relaxing part of our whole trip! Your park was just what we needed to top off our busy schedule; it was friendly, clean, quiet and being next to the stream was "refreshing." We plan on coming back!

My family has camped up, down and across our great country for over thirty years. In all that time we have never found a better place than Mountain Stream RV Park. The peaceful beauty of the North Carolina mountains and the rushing sounds of Buck Creek offer a rest and deep relaxation that is hard to find anywhere else. During the 14 years we have been visiting the park it has undergone a few changes always for the better. An example of this would be the current owners Becky & Ron Johnston. While the previous owners have been wonderful I can’t imagine a nicer or friendlier than Becky and Ron to run an RV park. Clean restrooms and a central location for sightseeing make Mountain Stream RV Park a destination. It’s a wonderful place, if you don’t believe me stop by and see for yourself. Oh, by the way if you are there during June and July 2005, stop by site 13 we’ll be there.
