Words can not describe how
beautiful your RV Park is. The excellent grounds keeping show
how much the owners care about people having a truly peaceful RV

We enjoyed our second Thanksgiving
at Mountain Stream. What a great place to be - we are reminded
of God's many gifts - beautiful nature, delicious food, and our
family and friends! Many thanks for inviting us to watch the big
game on Saturday. Your thoughtfulness is greatly appreciated.
(Maybe next year we can watch the right team win!). We look
forward to seeing you very soon. God Bless you! |

other pathways eliminate the concern about mud. The well-kept

My camping season is over for this
year, but my memories of Mountain Stream will always be with me
- Ron and Becky, the shows, friends I have made from all over
the U.S., eating barbeque and fish in Marion, Carson's Chapel
Church, sound of the stream, pets allowed, no mud, and great
sites. Spring, Summer and Fall I have experienced them all at
this wonderful campground. Next year - better believe I'll be
back, Lord willing, to see the Spring, Summer and Fall all over
again. |

Mountain Stream RV Park is surely
the nicest, most beautiful mountain park we have ever stayed in,
and that includes several parks in the Smokies, the Rockies and
also the Ozarks. And the Christian atmosphere is so wonderful.
We live in an area of Mississippi that was hit very hard by
hurricane Katrina and the first couple we met upon entering the
park, having asked where we were from, said "We've been praying
for you folks for these months since the hurricane." That
blessed our hearts and made us feel immediately at home here. We
certainly plan to come back to Mountain Stream RV Park on our
next visit to the Smokies. It has been an experience Gail and I
will never forget. |

Since becoming full time RV'ers in
April and visiting 35 states, this is by far one of , if not
the, nicest parks we have stayed in. Owners & camp workers went
over and above board to help us, everything from helpful
suggestions on things to see & do to delivering mail we
received, even moving chairs when a storm blew up and we weren't
here. Grounds are maliciously maintained and the cleanliness of
the showers is much appreciated. The Tom & Jo Show and the
Weenie Roast were lots of fun. They surely are right when they
say this park is "the prettiest little park this side of
Heaven". Thanks for a memorable stay. We will spread the word!!

Our week stay was much more than
we had anticipated. At Mountain Stream there is an over
abundance of warmth, friendship, love and caring that fills each
campsite. The Saturday night sing along and covered dish will
fill your soul with the love of God. Owners Ron & Becky go
"above and beyond" for their guests. They make you feel like
family. There is a very long and windy road on the journey to
Mountain Stream, but at the end of the road you will find not
only a rainbow of friendship and beautiful scenery, you will
find a taste of heaven. P.S. We drove our 40 ft 5th wheel to
Mountain Stream without difficulty. |

We are now official
Mountain Streamers....we just returned from spending two
wonderful weeks at site 7. Upon arriving, Ron was there helping
us back into our site because he recognized right away that we
were very rusty at setting up camp. Setup only took minutes and
before you knew it, we were relaxing on the creek bank which was
directly behind us. We slept with the windows open to hear the
sound of the creek. What a pleasing sound to melt away the cares
of the day. We met so many nice people, some staying
weeks/months or one or two nights. You get to know people when
you spend an evening with them eating and listening to great
music. Wonderful fellowship. The Sunday morning services at the
camp were so inspiring. It is true what others have said, you go
away feeling you have known Ron and Becky for years. We hope to
return to Mountain Stream RV Park soon and often. Thanks for
running an RV Park where families can go and be around other

This truly is the "prettiest

My family
and I have been camping at Mountain Stream for many years
through three sets of owners. The park has always taken pride in
neat clean facilities, wonderful surroundings and a proximity to
many enjoyable places to visit. It has only gotten better with
the current owners who are outgoing and very friendly. Having
been campers themselves they understand what campers want and
try to accommodate. The Saturday night social and
entertainment is a great way to meet people from all over the
country both passing through and those that have made the park
their destination. The entertainment, better known as the Tom
and Jo show, is a mixture of Blue Grass, down home Gospel and
some Country with a whole lot of fun thrown in for good measure.
Occasionally they have guest musicians and other groups such as
a local Dulcimer band the visited a few weeks ago. Again this
Summer we spent many weekends and even some full weeks
visiting the park. Our hats are off to owners Becky and Ron
Johnson for all their hard work and to Tom and JoAnn Brooks for
giving us something to smile about (yes Tom we even like your
jokes). We look forward to our next visit.. |

One of the most
beautiful RV parks around! Highly recommend it! We
found that even our 25' trailer didn't leave enough
room to park our car at the site. Probably only deep
enough for a pop-up & car. (the overflow parking at
our end was full most of the time so it meant
walking the length of the park when we needed
something out of the car).

We camped with our
camping group, the Coffee Cup Campers, for the first
time June 14-18. We had 2 days before the group
activities began to enjoy the tranquility of our
surroundings - the ripple of the stream eased the
minds of these two workaholics - no TV, no cell
phones, no hustle and bustle. Once our group arrived
we began organizing a wedding for Toby & Kim.
Saturday Rev. Tom (of the Tom & Jo Show) performed a
beautiful wedding ceremony down by the flowing
stream. Not a dry eye on the river. We can't wait to
come back again in October and see the foliage on
the Parkway and once again commune with nature. We
highly recommend Mt. Stream Campground.

our planned visit in 2005. We hung in there and

very sick and had to be put down Saturday afternoon
when we returned to Illinois. We loved him dearly

We had a wonderful

very nice people. We wanted to especially thank your

Thank you for the wonderful staff, stay and time we had
here at Mountain Stream. Our Easter vacation was a blast
and you guys made it even better! The Easter egg dying
and hunt were so much fun! And the boys really enjoyed
getting to meet the Easter Bunny and joining all the
festivities. The Tom & Jo Show was a great load of
laughs as well! We had a great time just being in your
campground ad being with other nice families!

You have got a beautiful little spot and really take
care very well of it. Everything is clean and close by.
The site at the river is just perfect for us and silent,
even with all the spectacle going on for the Easter
holidays. It would be a perfect place to stay for quite
sometime, but we travel through the States and the trip
itself is our goal. We found you in the National
Geographic Atlas and in the list of recommendations for
North Carolina. We hope to find many more places like
this one on our trip which lasts 6 month. All the best
to you.

As we pack up for our journey home
to the NC coast, many wonderful memories will stay with us.
Mountain Stream is everything and more that your website
describes. The sights and sounds of nature relax every muscle
and bone in a very weary body. Falling asleep to the rushing
stream is a perfect way to end a day! Becky and Ron are
excellent hosts. The property is gorgeous, painstakingly cared
for by Becky, Ron and staff. If only we could be here for the
full bloom. Awesome! We'll definitely visit again. Thank you! |

Ron and Becky, where do we start?
In over 20 years of camping from the east coast to the west
coast, from Florida to Maine, our stay at Mountain Stream was
the most relaxing peaceful vacation we have ever had. I wish I
had a recording of that stream flowing over the rocks. It just
doesn’t get any better than that. Your location is perfect.
Close enough to a town in case of an emergency, and yet just
five minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway. We ventured out
several days and viewed the beautiful scenery, but found that
the best part of each trip was coming back to Mountain Stream.
Your facilities are just as advertised on you web page, the only
exception we found was the web page didn’t have that cool clean
smell of mountain air. Your personnel touch is something that
we have never seen in a RV park. I think that is what sets
Mountain Stream apart from any other park we have stayed in.
All it took was our drive down the road to a point when the cell
phone started ringing to make us appreciate how restful and
relaxing your park is. This was our first visit, but it won’t be
the last. Thanks for your hospitality and hope see you soon. |

I have always been skeptical of
private RV parks they always seemed to be big business and just
herd you in and herd you out. Most have the attitude that you
should be thankful that they gave a 10 by 10 spot with all the
noise they can send you way. We have camped for 4 years now and
I must say you broke the mold for Private Parks. It felt as if
we went HOME to be with the family, everyone was very nice, and
gracious, the way you and Ron carry yourself seems to rub off on
everyone else when you arrive. The grounds were beautiful and
the stream I can’s say enough about. We appreciate the
entertainment and the care that you and your staff put on to
make sure everything is perfect. I hope and pray that all goes
well for you two because you deserve it and I want to come see
you as often as we can. |

been a memorable one and we will be back! This weekend is one of
the best, if not "the best", camping experience we have ever
had. Please don't change a thing! |

Being an occasional camper is
behind these comments. Mountain Stream is the friendliest,
cleanest and the nearest place to nature I have ever visited.
I've heard the comment that if you don't like it after 15
minutes you might as well leave and I tend to agree. This place
is 1200 miles from home, but I will be back. Ron & Becky are
great!! |

Please don't ever take for granted
this beautiful place God has let you have. We have traveled up
and down the east coast of the United States and this campground
is the best we have found. In our 30 years of camping, it is the
cleanest, best kept up campground we have found. We
traveled 9 hours to get here and once we got here we knew we had
made the right choice. The Johnston's are very helpful with
directions to local interest and are just good people. My wife
and I have been kicking around the idea of opening a campground
in Columbus, Georgia. This campground has inspired us to get
started in earnest. The beautiful mountains and running stream
beside the campground makes this truly "God's Country". All of
the personal touches, like curtains in the bath house, grass
areas around each site, flowers, ceramic animals, lights along
the fence and in the trees are wonderful. We will tell all of
our friends about this campground and show them the pictures we
took. Thanks you for four wonderful days and nights. God bless
you. |

Mountain Stream RV Park is one of
the nicest RV parks we have ever camped in. The individual camp
sites are all good sites. The sound of the river is truly a gift
from God. After traveling the area, there is no place prettier.
The management makes you feel like family and is very willing to
accommodate you needs. The RV park is exactly as they say -

We had a wonderful visit at
Mountain Stream RV Park. It truly is a pretty little campground
that offers a lot to every one of all ages. Mountain Stream is a
place where you can lay back and relax, smell the mountain air,
or enjoy the clean flowing stream by fishing or just listening
to the calming sound. The Tom & Jo Saturday show was both fun
and spiritually uplifting. We will recommend Mountain Stream to

My family has
camped up, down and across our great country for over thirty
years. In all that time we have never found a better place than
Mountain Stream RV Park. The peaceful beauty of the North
Carolina mountains and the rushing sounds of Buck Creek offer a
rest and deep relaxation that is hard to find anywhere else.
During the 14 years we have been visiting the park it has undergone
a few changes always for the better. An example of this would be
the current owners Becky & Ron Johnston. While the previous
owners have been wonderful I can’t imagine a nicer or friendlier
than Becky and Ron to run an RV park. Clean restrooms and a
central location for sightseeing make Mountain Stream RV Park a
destination. It’s a wonderful place, if you don’t believe me
stop by and see for yourself. Oh, by the way if you are there
during June and July 2005, stop by site 13 we’ll be there.

We just wanted to thank you for
providing the most beautiful campground for us to enjoy this
past weekend. We had the most fun and relaxing weekend in a
very long time. It's not too easy with a 2, 4 and 5 year old.
But thanks to your campground not to mention the stream,
basketball court and open field my kids had a wonderful time and
my husband and I got in some much needed relaxation. We felt at
ease when our 5 year old rode her bike by herself around the
campground circle. There is no other campground that we would
have let her do that. Everyone that we met in the campground
was so nice. Like family. We would defiantly love to make
another reservation in the very near future. We love Mountain
Stream!! Thanks so much for having it available for us to
enjoy!! Take care. We hope to see you real soon!! |

Our stay at the Mountain Stream RV
Park could not have been more pleasant! The natural setting of
the park, with the many tall trees, the fresh, clean mountain
air and the rushing stream, provided a most relaxing experience
as we traveled from West to East. M. S. RV Park is a safe,
secure and immaculate place to stop and rest. Also our need for
Internet access was met, wireless, directly from our rig.
Besides, you will not meet more gracious, helpful and caring
