Every Saturday night from May through October we have a covered dish supper and a gospel concert here on the grounds. We bring in the best Southern Gospel, Bluegrass Gospel, and Contemporary Christian groups from all over the southeast. Many are favorites that come back year after year, but each year there are also some groups coming for the first time.
Last year we had an unusually large number of groups perform at Mountain Stream for the first time - "Cross Reference Trio", "Truly Blessed", "Brothers Redeemed Quartet", "Meaggan Cochran", "In His Glory", "The English Family", "Reign Song", "Mountain Joy", "His Ministry", "Fresh Anointing", "Master Praise", "Ron Brewer", "The Pathfinders", "Vessels of Praise" and "Tony Burchette". Most of these groups will be back for return engagements in 2009.
This year we've lined up some more groups to perform at Mountain Stream for the first time - "Wendy Word & Forgiven", "The American Quartet", "Far City Boys", "Rita Broyles", "The Gospelaires", "Out of Ashes", "The Parables", "Abundant Life Trio", "Southern Sounds Quartet" and "The Dosses".
