Greetings Fellow Campers,

Welcome to Mountain Stream RV Park. We fell in love with this pretty little park the first time we camped here in 2001. We kept coming back again and again. In 2003, we had the opportunity to buy the campground. So we both quit our high-pressure jobs, sold our house, and moved to the mountains. Now every day is a "week-end" and we can watch the sun rise up over mountain every morning. It doesn't get much better than this! If you come and visit us, we're sure you'll love it too.

The park covers over 4 acres. It is surrounded on all sides by heavily forested mountain ridges, at just under 2,000 feet elevation. There are scores of trees and bushes in the park....towering hemlocks, poplars, flowering dogwoods, bradford pears, red-buds, weeping cherrys, azaleas, rhododendrons, mountain laurel....you've got the picture!

There are loads of spring blossoms, followed in the summer by beds of colorful annuals, surrounding the large, green center lawn area....that is until the weather gets cool in the fall. When that happens, we have one of nature's most glorious displays of fall color that you've ever seen. The colors found on the Blue Ridge Parkway, just 5 miles up from our park, are incredibly beautiful in the fall.

28 of our sites border on a trout stream, which is home to both native and  stocked rainbow trout. Trout as large as 21 inches have been caught here at the campground. You can see pictures of some of them on the bottom of the Events page.

With only 37 sites (all are full hook-ups with 30 or 50 amp service) this is a very quiet, peaceful place. There used to be 40 sites, but we've eliminated some so that we could make some others larger. Upon arriving, it won't take long for you to feel like you're visiting friends and family. After all, you ARE staying in our "yard"! We are in the motor home on site 40.

Come visit us! Relax by the stream, do some fishing, stroll around and enjoy the flowers, listen to the lyrical stream from the comfort of your lounge chair, throw a frisbee on the center lawn...whatever pleases you. You can find all the information on the rest of the web-site about what's doing around here! So, bring your family....bring your friends....your leashed pets are welcome too. We look forward to meeting you at Mountain Stream.
