Everything was great! It's a beautiful site and very well maintained. My son was fascinated by the stream. Everyone - the owner, staff, and guests - was welcoming and helpful. We hope to be back next season.

First time to the area! The sound of the creek provided the relaxation we needed and the it definitely kept our kids entertained. Beautiful campground with so many lovely touches and details to the grounds. We enjoyed many activities in driving distance—hiking, trout fishing, river tubing, etc. We will definitely be planning another trip!

This was our second stay and absolutely will not be the last. We have stayed at many campgrounds and this one of our favorites. The park is so neat and clean. The sounds of Buck Creek make it so relaxing. We have met some great people from many places during our stays. The staff is amazing and so helpful. You have to try the flavored breads you can purchase at the camp store. So easy to cook and delicious. Oh and the trout fishing was super good this time around. We are already planning several other trips here.

Wonderful campground. Beautifully kept. Stream at your back door was great. Kids had a great time playing all around the campground. And we loved meeting "Daisy" the duck. She may be your new mascot! Great trip!

Mountain Stream RV Park will meet all of your expectations. It is clean, beautiful and friendly. Whether you stay there your whole visit in the park area; or take trips out of the park for hikes off the Blue Ridge Parkway, you will have a great time. We stayed in a yurt since our camper was in the shop for repairs, and we had a wonderful week long visit.

This place was recommended by our son and his wife who have stayed many times. It was so peaceful and relaxing with the sound of the creek in the background. We had a super fun time and have already booked for next year. The campground stays booked up so reserve as early as you can. Happy Camping!

Sadly, we missed our chance to review online the wonderful time we had in the Lantana yurt. Part of our family stayed in their RV on the beautiful stream while we enjoyed our visit in the yurt. Such a great place for a family get together. We miss it every day. The cool breezes and the sound of the mountain stream combined with the play area for our granddaughter to catch lightning bugs in the evening made for a delightful stay. Can't wait to return. Please tell Tyler that the yurt was so well furnished and so clean......all we needed were our toothbrushes and suitcase.

Thank you for a wonderful place to return to soon.

A Special Kind of Place

Quaint, but a perfect spot for sitting by the stream and enjoying the laughter of the children trying to float, or reading a book, visiting with neighbors from across the US, and sleeping in the quiet of nature. A perfect place for those who love the great outdoors and simple living and camping. The only issue that we experienced was very spotty wifi even with the paid upgrade. That needs to be addressed - with zero cell service, that's an important tool to communicate out in the event of an emergency or to look up where the nearest hospital, or fire department is. I would recommend a landline be made available somehow for local emergency calls. Perhaps in a lock box near the office. Otherwise, this place is a very special kind of place! We will be back.

Mountain Stream RV Park was so peaceful and relaxing with birds always singing. Great landscaping and it provided privacy between us and our neighbors. Awesome view of the creek with a deck and beautiful picnic table. Site 14 is our favorite.

Well...you've gone and done it-I believe you have ruined the rest of our vacation- because nowhere else could possibly hold a candle to this! Perfect on all levels! Obviously! The location is beyond beautiful; a true slice of heaven on earth! It is the hard work & attention to detail that shines through and is above and beyond! The gorgeous picnic tables, the landscaping, the woodwork, the stonework...I could go on and on. Everything you have done here shows and is very much appreciated. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

If your looking for the perfect place for peace and quiet, Mountain Stream is the place. I could not figure out why booking a spot is so difficult but after my second day there, I was ready to book again. Being a retired law enforcement office, it was nice to see a wall of department patches from all over the country pinned on the wall in the office. I had a patch from my department and it is now represented there. I would highly recommend you give this park a try! But book early!

June 2021 First Stay
RV Size & Style: 28 ft Travel Trailer
Site Number: 6
Home Town: Wilmington NC

This was our first stay and will not be our last........in fact we have made reservations, with two other RV couples, for 2022.
Simply beautiful location.
Some of the You Tube "cautions" about the last few miles to get there due to road conditions are........overblown. Just do the speed limit on the curves and enjoy the ride.
The front desk greeter, Shelby, was truly a wonderful, kind and helpful person. Our many visits to the office during our stay for purchases were made more pleasant by her smiling face.
No doubt that this is not a huge RV park and some parking of travel trailers might be challenging if you are not comfortable with your parking abilities but, the staff volunteered upon entry to help with any needs including parking if needed.
Park of the goal here was to NOT be in a massive RV park and find peace and quiet............GOAL MET.
Simply beautiful and glad we made the 7 hr ride to get there.
Now for the challenge..........we used Mt. Stream as our first stop on a 5 month across America journey...........the bar has been set high going forward.
Thanks Mt Stream!
See you in 2022.
PS
Even the bread making kit we bought from the office, "Brew Bread Artisan Beer Bread Mix" was terrific! Made one while at Mt Stream and bought one on the way out for the road.

We have been coming to this place for the last 5 years. We are in our little slice of heaven. Talk about de-stress and un-plugged. Words cannot describe how you feel when you are here. People are so friendly. The rushing creek water lulls you into the best sleep that you ever had. Casting a fly rod on some monster trout takes you away to when you were a kid. The cool mountain air infuses your soul. You cannot help but put on a smile everyday that you are here. SSSHHHHH.... don't tell anyone....!!!

We absolutely loved Mountain Stream RV Park. Everything was so clean and maintained, and we could not have been treated any nicer by the staff and fellow campers. This is definitely our favorite RV park and have already booked for 2022.

Stayed for 7 days and reserved a site for next before our reservation was over this year. Can't think of any thing negative about Mountain Stream. The staff are outstanding and very caring people: they work hard at pleasing the guests.
The facilities and park are exceptionally clean and well manicured. If you're looking for peace, quiet and relaxation, this is the place to find it.

Love this campground! Small, quaint and simply beautiful. Very well maintained lots, most on the creek. Wonderful quiet evenings with a campfire by the creek after a day exploring mountain roads on the mc. Close to blue ridge parkway and many other great roads for motorcycle touring.

Mountain Stream RV Yurts

When we made this reservation, we were skeptical about staying in a yurt. Much to our surprise, this is a most comfortable and enjoyable form of temporary lodging!!! The space is roomy (400 sq. ft.) and has all amenities a premium hotel room has plus. The staff are very attentive to your every need and rectify problems very promptly. The RV park is situated on the banks of Buck Creek near Marion, NC. The flowing water is very calming and provides a most pleasant setting. Highly recommended for families!!!

OMG!❤ now one of our favorite places. The creek on every site is amazing. It was beautiful and so relaxig sitting by the fast running creek with the campfire roaring, opening our back windows at night and hearing the creek rushing by. The landscaping is beautiful! Our lab "Angel" had a blast and met many new doggie friends in the adorable doggie park. The staff is wonderful! Everysite is beautifully landscaped and roomy. Not a bad site here. I love that its a smaller more private park to. We stayed 5 days and 4 nights and wish we could stay longer. Extremely clean!!! We rebooked for next May 2022. You'll love it here, but book now because this place is always full. ❤❤❤
