Another relaxing vacation in a beautiful location with some wonderful folks.  We love the location of Mountain Stream because of all the available hiking, site seeing and outdoor activities at close proximity.  We really like the changes made to the park.  Thanks Kevin for looking out for our camper during the water episode.  We look forward to next year's adventure at Mountain Stream!

Thank you Jacqueline & Johnny! We enjoyed having you both here!

from Statesville NC.  Highly recommend staying here.  Great area.  Very nice and clean.  Great for dogs.  BBQ was good.  Enjoyed the river stream, it made me feel at home.  I grew up in the W VA mountains and it reminded me of that.  Will hopefully be back soon.

Beautiful location by a clear stream that makes a wonderful sound to relax by.  Stayed over Saturday night so we enjoyed the BBQ dinner hosted by Kevin & Gena.  We hope to return!

We were only able to give 5 stars but would give more if available. Kevin and Gena were there for us 100% when we arrived in a panic. We had stayed there a week prior and left our motorcoach nearby for a week while my husband and I went home for work. We are approximately 3 hours away and when we returned to Marion my husband realized he left the keys to the coach at home. We had no where to stay and they accommodated us with their rental RV and made us very comfortable. We had to stay for two nights until a neighbor could retrieve our keys and FedX them to us. We had my 80 year old mom with us on her first camping trip, boy was it an adventure. We learned many lessons this past week, but know that they are hands down the best hosts and best campground that we have ever stayed at. You could not ask for any better campground, clean, neat, beautiful grounds, kind campers and a wonderful relaxing time. Beautiful mountains surround you with Buck Creek out your door for the best night of sleep. Kevin and Gena supply the best BBQ on Saturday nights. Come enjoy, but save us a spot please!

Thank you so much for this nice review. We are so blessed to have such nice campers visit us here. Thank You!!!

This was a nice trip with lots of rest for us.  This is a very clean and quiet facility.  It was nice that we could bring our pets with us.  We look forward to coming back again.

Thank you so much!

Very quiet setting, friendly campers, very clean.  The bathroom needs upgrading, it took 4 days to get a hot shower in the men's bathroom.

Thank you! We are glad that you enjoyed your stay here and hope to see you again.

We're new to camping and this was only our second camping experience, but I'm pretty sure that we started at the pinnacle! Mountain Stream is a beautifully maintained and landscaped campground situated on Buck Creek. I mean RIGHT on Buck Creek. Our site had a brand new deck that overhung the creek. We slept every night with the windows open so we could hear the stream. It was awesome! Kevin and Gina are super helpful. There are so many things to do in the area. There's even a Camping World close by. But the best part was the people we met in the campgrounds! Such interesting people! Mountain Stream will definitely be one that we'll return to again and again!

We visited great Mountain Stream RV Park on our way to Virginia & West Virginia from Campti, LA.  This park was by far the prettiest, friendliest, and most relaxing of them all. (3)  The staff and even the other campers were so nice.  They even allow pets, although we didn't bring ours this time.  We stayed next to a very beautiful creek and the water rushing over the rocks was a wonderful sound as we relaxed and just took a much needed get-away.  We will be back!

Awesome experience, friendly staff and very helpful to novice campers.  You can hear the brook, walk in a refreshing stream and just relax.  We met some wonderful people!

We love visiting Mountain Stream RV Park. The kids play for hours in the creek and catch fire flies at dusk. It's a great place to go if you want to slow down and connect as a family....and the BBQ is the best in the hills.

We bought our 1st travel trailer and made our 1st trip with it up here to Mountain Stream RV Park to celebrate my wife's 60th birthday!  Kevin & Gena were very nice and accommodating as were the other campers.  It is a beautiful place, and surprisingly quiet.  The sound of Buck Creek running right behind our campsite was very relaxing.  Our stay was from 6-23-18 to 6-26-18.  Our travel trailer is a Keystone Hideout 26 RLS.  We sure did hate to leave.

We are so glad that your birthday celebration was a great experience! We hope to see you again! Thank you

Gena & Kevin have everything you need here at Mountain Stream RV Park.  So charming & cozy.  I appreciate the little dog park, the amazing BBQ on Saturday night, the beautiful plantings and the gorgeous stream!  Thank you for such a lovely little place to park our home on wheels.  We will be back!

Kevin & Gena are wonderful hosts.  We have been coming to Mt. Stream for several years and we just love it.  It is so peaceful & quiet.  Kevin and Gena have made several improvements that have enhanced the beauty of this wonderful park.  If you want to sit and listen to a creek go by and feel the mountain breeze gently on your face you need to come to Mt. Stream.  Kevin & Gena will treat you like family.  We will always return to Mountain Stream.

Thank you Steve and Vickie! It was a pleasure to have you here as campers!

Of course our review will likely sound like so many others, but you WILL NOT be disappointed with this campground. We have been campers for over 25 years. We've been all over the Mid-west and Eastern part of the country and I can tell you that this campground is #1 ! ! !The owners are a married couple, Kevin and Gena. They are a humble couple that clearly have their heart and soul into this property. It is clean, groomed, landscaped and as if every site was their own yard. In fact, in a way, it is their yard because they live on site.Camping near Buck Creek Stream is an understatement. You are literally on Buck Creek, or as in our case, over it with a deck. The sites are all full hookup, including cable TV. There is free wi-fi, but is tough because up in the mountains they rely upon satellite for service. If you have to have faster speeds, we found that the paid wi-fi is a lot better than the free, but still, it is on a satellite and in the evenings it can get bogged down. It was no issue for us, because we only needed it to stay in touch with our kids. Otherwise you should enjoy the property and surrounding gorgeous attractions. We were there Wednesday night To Sunday and did not want to leave. We are already planning on returning with friends.

Thank you so much for all of the kind words! It sure does mean a lot to us. We will look forward to your next visit.

What a beautiful place to camp and relax! Our stay was just perfect!  The sites are so clean and have plenty of room.  We have never seen a more beautifully landscaped small campground.  The spot by the creek was just glorious with little running waterfalls that you could hear day and night.  It was definitely a little piece of heaven!  Kevin's BBQ was great on Saturday and Kevin and Gena were great hosts, not just owners.  Thanks for a wonderful weekend!

Thank you Robert and Paulette! We look forward to seeing you again sometime!

I rented one of their 2018 RV's.  It was very clean and had all the comforts of home and then some more.  The leather seating is very comfortable while watching the nice flat screen TV.  The owners are nice and friendly.  They even have a BBQ for campers on Sat. evening.  The trout stream running through the campground is beautiful and so relaxing.  I enjoyed my stay and highly recommend this campground if you want to enjoy nature and relaxing in a clean and friendly atmosphere.  BTW...the BBQ was Delicious!  THANKS!

Thank you so much for your kind words and stars. We are really happy you enjoyed the Imagine RV.

The landscaping is so pretty and the sites are well maintained.  Everything was so nice.  It's obvious you take pride in your park.  Cooper enjoyed the "park" where he could sniff and explore without his leash holding him back.  We had a wonderful time and are looking forward to our next visit.  Also thank you Gena for helping me with my wi-fi.  You didn't give up until it was fixed.

Thank you Alice and Eddy! We enjoyed having you here and look forward to seeing you again!

We arrived Friday May 25 for a 5 day stay. What a beautiful place with so many little personal touches that make this such a great experience. I kind of hate to spread the word because everyone will know about this little peace of heaven. Unfortunately the weather became an issue for us and we decided to leave Monday night when the forecast was for more heavy rain expected for the next two days. Mountain roads can get tricky with so much rain. We hated to leave, but made reservations for another trip later in the year. Gina and Kevin were so nice and accommodating. There is another post from a gentleman that came in the same day as us that was not very positive. My husband and several other people were there to witness what happened with this gentleman and there is another side to that story. You can’t pull into a family business and start yelling at owner that knows his own park best that you’re not taking his advice on which way you need to go to best get to your site. The gentleman became very loud and demanding. Many families were around heard the commotion. Kevin walked around and apologized to everyone but what else could he do. Since we were there I felt it only fair to this campground that an eyewitness account be shared as well. We will definitely make this an annual stop for our family. This family has invested time, money and love into this park and it shows. So grateful we found this special place.

You are so kind! Thank you for making our day today. We look forward to your next visit.

Thank you for providing such a relaxing environment for our five night stay. We so much appreciate the attention to detail like the lush landscaping with flowering plants, dog park, open grassy area, pavilion with large TV and complementary BBQ every Saturday night!  Thanks for helping make memories here and we will be back.

Thank you so much for your rating and kind words it means a lot. Hope to see you back soon.
