Loved listening to the stream and loved seeing the zen rock display in the stream.  Close to the Blue Ridge Parkway and hiking trails and water falls.  Very clean and well taken care of.I enjoyed the peacefulness of your park.  Very relaxing after a day of site seeing!  On the sites that are smaller and close together more vegetation in between would be nice.

Extra clean restrooms, wonderful "Mountain Stream" to listen to and watch.  Near several interesting places on the Parkway.  No problems hauling the RV & backing it in.  Picnic tables are polyurethane finished so no wet picnic table, just wipe if needed!  Level spot.  We love it!  Nice owners.

We are so happy that you enjoyed staying here! Thank you for coming!

Your campground is very beautiful!  The sites are a little tight for our 40' 5th wheel although it does fit.  The only things that we didn't like were that our table was too close to our neighbors - - - like 3 feet away.  The fire pit was close to our trailer but we kept the fire small.  The biggest problem is the lack of cell coverage.  Having a small emergency at home this made it difficult to contact people at home.  Even having a place to plug in and use the phone would work.  We couldn't use the internet.

Thank you for your comments, Debbie and Tom. We are so sorry that we didn't know that you needed the phone! There is a land line at the back of the park for public use and you are always WELCOME to use our office phone! The internet is limited, as we let everyone know, but there are a couple of "tricks" to it, like sitting on our deck or in the pavilion to log on because the signal is best at the front of the park. We hope that you will visit us again knowing that we will do our best to address these kinds of issues immediately and do as much as possible to ensure that you have a nice stay with us.

Latest Trip to Mountain Stream

We've been camping at Mountain Stream for over 20 years, but this was our first trip back in two years or so. We were sad to learn that Ron and Becky no longer owned the campground, but quickly found that Kevin and Gena were working hard to maintain the beauty and uniqueness that makes Mountain Stream special. We're exited to hear of the improvements they have planned and enjoyed Kevin's pulled-pork recipe. It was as good or better than most of the BBQ we've eaten at restaurants all over North Carolina. We also enjoyed meeting some new friends this trip. We will certainly be back and are looking forward to having our grandchildren camp with us, making us happy, third generation Mountain Stream campers!

Best, most relaxing week we've had in FOREVER!  The sound of the creek in the background while reading or napping was so peaceful and then our "inner child" came out and we were playing in the water and watching the leaves float over the rocks.  A little fly fishing in the mornings and then exploring wineries nearby, antique shops and then all the fun outdoor nature close by.  And an extra bonus for us was all the new friends we made from all over the US and Canada.  Cheers to Kevin and Gena, (our hosts) and our friends.  We've already made reservations for our next stay.

First off the stay was fantastic.  The owners made you feel like family.  We stayed at site 13 and it was so beautiful.  The site was clean, the whole campground was very clean.  The campgrounds made you feel like home.  We cannot say enough about this place!  We will come back many times.  From Yvonne and myself, want to say thank you for the wonderful stay!

We had an amazing time staying here. With the sound of the stream right behind our camper it was very relaxing.  We truly believe that we couldn't have found any better of a place to have stayed here in Marion.  The owners Kevin and Gena were very friendly and accommodating.  They do an excellent job of maintaining the park.  We will definitely be making more return trips.

Thank you Troy and Candy! It was very nice having you here!

This is a very clean, quite park. The creek side sites are very nice. We stayed a weekend, and wished we could have stayed longer. Kevin and Gena are fantastic hosts and are very friendly. We made some new camping friends and had a great time. We plan to visit again and are very happy this place is so close to home.

We really enjoyed our stay at Mountain Stream RV Park.  The campground is very clean and well maintained.  Kevin and Gena are great, they gave us good information on local attractions and things to do in the area. The most friendly campground that we have ever stayed at.  We will come back for sure.

Thank you so much for staying with us!

This is the cleanest, most relaxing campground we've ever stayed. We loved the fact that they are very dog friendly! Initially, we were concerned about our site being next to the road. But this was not a problem. Very little traffic and noise. We will return many times in the future!

Thank you so much for your comments. We look forward to seeing you again soon.

Our stay was very good.  The new owners were pleasant. Our only complaint was that site 11 is not big enough for a 35 foot trailer with 4 slides.  Very tight and not much room to do anything else.

The entire campground is neat & tidy.  It is safely snuggled between 2 majestic mountains right on a gurgling mountain stream that gently lulls you into a great nap! The staff are very friendly and helpful with any needs you may have and the park is so quiet!  Very close to the BlueRidge Parkway and many hiking trails and other various and beautiful attractions.  Better than any of the Smokey Mountain RV Parks we have visited.  Visit this one right away!

Thanks Larry & Dana! We loved having you here and appreciate your nice comments so much!

We Look Forward to Another Visit

We especially enjoyed the relaxing sound of the babbling creek that ran behind our site and the crickets melodious chirping at night. The full hookups were such an improvement from previous waits in line to empty tanks! And free cable – win, win. We appreciated the maps, pamphlets and events sheets you prepare for your guests to enjoy adventures in your area. This made our stay memorable. You do an excellent job of maintain your bathrooms which were always clean and smelled fresh. The fire pits were clean upon arrival, grass was cut and leaves raked up. Your picnic tables surprised use because they were so sturdy and lacquered so there were no splinters. Yea! This has to be the prettiest campground with the beautiful trees and oodles of flowers. We look forward to another visit and thank you for your hospitality.

Thank you so much for your kind and generous comments! All the best, until we see you again.
